I Can See The Light!
I'm a little embarrassed to admit this... but I figured out how to turn on the lights in our garage tonight. 10 months after moving in.
We have a little bulb with a pull string next to the door, which I've always used. We also had 4 fluorescent bulbs in the middle of the garage, which we couldn't find a switch to, so we just assumed that the lights didn't work, which is why the pull bulb was put in. We assumed wrong.
There's a tiny little knob under the pull string, which looked like a part of the light base. I tried to twist it tonight, and it turned, but nothing happened. I twisted it the other way, and the lights came on! Woohoo!
In other news, I'm a believer in chiropractic care. I've been going to a chiropractor for a few months for my back/neck. Nothing I'd done in the last 4 years have fixed the problem, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Was a little skeptical that it would do anything.
After 3 weeks, I noticed no change. So I told the chiropractor I was going to stop coming, because nothing was changing. She asked me to give her 1 more week, and changed up the things she was doing (I can only describe them as her trying to seperate my head and right arm from the rest of my body).
After 2 of these treatments, I'm noticing a HUGE difference. My neck is still good and screwed up, but it's feeling much better than it has for the past few months. So I guess I'll keep going to the chiropractor and see what happens
